Landslide tools, maps and databases

Search the Australian Landslide Database

The Australian Landslide Database displays the location of landslides on a map and provides information regarding the landslide location, type of landslide, date of occurrence (where known), a brief summary of the event, its cause and damage.

This is an "interoperable" prototype database which Geoscience Australia established in collaboration with the University of Wollongong and Mineral Resources Tasmania. The database demonstrates a continued collaborative endeavour to improve the historic record of landslide events in Australia and to ensure this information is widely available and accessible.
